Judy worked with me as my writing coach and was a great help. She gave generously of her time, was encouraging, supportive and constructive. I was stuck on a particular piece, and her perspective and practical advice helped me see my own way out and onward. Writing perforce is a solitary work; it is a rare joy, therefore, to be able to share the endeavor with someone who understands the effort, supports the intention and values the process as well as its product.
Judy is a writer, education consultant and writing coach who opens her home to writers and artists who seek a place away from the world to write and work. Wednesday evening writing conferences with Judy and other guests are a regular feature of stays at The Write Space.
Judy's published writing is mostly of the "how-to" non-fiction variety, co-authored with colleagues for an audience of educators. More recently, she has begun to explore essays and memoirs, and she has coached writers pursuing these genres.
Consider this your "home away from home" to write, create, and enjoy the beauty of Lake Champlain and the Adirondack Mountains. Be as quiet as you wish in your own writing/sleeping space, soak in the outdoor hot tub, or venture out into Burlington and beyond.
